Jentschmann  Technologies

Industrial Sewing Technology
Jentschmann A.G.was originally founded to produce sewing machines and sewing systems for industry.
In addition to standard machines, numerous special machines were made with sewing technology.
There was a particular specialization in the manufacturing of Long Arm Sewing Machines.

Today, Jentschmann uses industrial sewing machines from well-known brand manufacturers as a basic component for all Jentschmann sewing systems.
The core competence of Jentschmann is particularly appropriate in the selection of sewing technology for the specific needs of customers.

Jentschmann Industrial Sewing Systems can be used for the following applications:
Sewing and hemming of awnings, sun sails, shutters, fire curtains, camouflage nets, tarpaulins, geotextiles, textile architecture, large format banners

Ultrasonic Welding Technology
Jentschmann A.G uses the ultrasonic welding technology for bonding technical textiles and foils.

Jentschmann A.G developed special rotating sonotrodes for a continuous bonding process.

For more information about the ultrasonic welding application please follow the link

Ultrasonic Cutting
Jentschmann uses the ultrasonic cutting technology mainly to separate technical textiles and films.
The advantage of ultrasonic cutting is that the edges are simultaneously cut and sealed. This avoids  fraying of the edges.
Jentschmann has developed ultrasonic cutting sonotrodes and cutting wheels for ultrasonic cutting.
One of the Jentschmann standard cutting applications can be found in the cutting automat for awning fabrics - CUMASIX

Ultrasonic-Gluing
Ultrasonic gluing is a bonding process for technical textiles with heat activated adhesive tapes.
During this process the fabric lengths are placed one upon another by a guiding device and a hot-melt tape is fed in between.
When applying the ultrasonic energy by rotating ultrasonic sonotrodes, the hot-melt tape is heated, becomes liquid and bonds the two fabric lengths together under pressure.
The adhesion and strength of the seam gets increased using a patented cooling and pressing device.
With heat activated adhesive tapes joined seams are considerably stronger than sewn seams, they are waterproof and almost invisible.

The ultrasonic bonding or ultrasonic gluing application is considered as a standard technology in the awning market e.g. with the ultrasonic bonding automat Weldsonic Twin.
Further areas of application are the production of Geotextiles, textile architecture and digital large format printing.
